Great article! I am curious if you have heard of or had any experience with magento? I cam across it some time ago and it looks great, but I haven’t wanted to take the time to switch carts.

Good article, Troy.

I’d be interested in reading more about what makes for good seo on shopping carts. I’m a developer, not an seo – but realize the importance of it, so study sites like yours as much as possible.

Also – why did totus toss the hosted carts?

Alex, the study I mentioned was done by our in house staff when deciding on which ecommerce platform to choose. It was never publicized. Sorry if the statement was misleading.

What study of Practical Ecommerce do your mean here? They do lots of studies. Could you post a link here or give some kind of direction where to find it? I browser PeC’s web-site and didn’t find such a study there.
